What is a Union?
A trade union is a group of workers who stand together to make decisions about their working conditions. Union workers enjoy many advantages including higher pay, employer-paid benefits, training, and a voice on the job.
Many of the benefits and protections that are in place today are a direct result of unions. These advantages include but are not limited to: minimum wage, social security payments, an eight-hour work day and weekends, overtime pay, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
How to Unionize Your Company
Did you know that you have a Federal right to be union at your company?
Section 7 of the National Labor Relations Act gives you the right to form, join, or assist a union and to choose representatives to bargain with your employer on your behalf.
Take control of your future, because the future is now.
